What a day! Thank you to the @lapabummers Youth Leadership Program for having me in to deliver two units in Personal Health & Well-being and Emotional Intelligence through @rollingwiththepunches_official partnership with @westbournecollege - both of these topics are incredibly important areas for overall health and wellness šš½šš½
13 years ago I was invited to the first ever La Perouse Leadership Camp to speak from a lived experience on Trauma and Mental Illness - it was the first time I had ever spoken in a group and I was š© myself.
Since then I am now lucky enough to count my peers from that first night as Friends and over that time I have watched them grow into CEOās, Tradies, Business Owners, Health Professionals, Directors and a variety of other roles but the one thing they have in common is they are all Leaders and they all have the best interests of their community at Heart ššš½
Thank you for trusting me in 2009 and thank you for trusting me with the education of your next generation of leaders š„š„
The maturity, dedication and commitment of these young people ensures the community is in good hands for the future ššŖš½
