What a day! Thank you to the @lapabummers Youth Leadership Program for having me in to deliver two units in Personal Health & Well-being and Emotional Intelligence through @rollingwiththepunches_official partnership with @westbournecollege - both of these topics are incredibly important areas for overall health and wellness 🙌🏽🙌🏽
13 years ago I was invited to the first ever La Perouse Leadership Camp to speak from a lived experience on Trauma and Mental Illness - it was the first time I had ever spoken in a group and I was 💩 myself.
Since then I am now lucky enough to count my peers from that first night as Friends and over that time I have watched them grow into CEO’s, Tradies, Business Owners, Health Professionals, Directors and a variety of other roles but the one thing they have in common is they are all Leaders and they all have the best interests of their community at Heart 💛🙏🏽
Thank you for trusting me in 2009 and thank you for trusting me with the education of your next generation of leaders 🔥🔥
The maturity, dedication and commitment of these young people ensures the community is in good hands for the future 🌎💪🏽
