When I posted on my Instagram a fortnight ago that I would like to offer Women and Girls the opportunity to attend a weekly boxing class to learn how to box in a controlled and safe environment that aims to empower women with strength and confidence in a time when they must feel very unsafe - I never could have imagined the support this would receive.
While there been some detractors - there always is!! The overwhelming positive feedback has been incredible - I was very nervous doing this story and when A Current Affair ring you - it is normally because you have been caught out doing something wrong!! Not this time! and it was such a great experience working with them on this important initiative and being able to use their reach to get the message out there that violence against women is NEVER ok.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out with messages of support - I am very thankful for such an incredible level of support and it's genuinely refreshing to see so many people on the same page!
